Day 2 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Several Big Names Available After Round 1

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is now behind us.

Like usual, the first round was not without some surprises and drama. The Jacksonville Jaguars made an aggressive move up to land Travis Hunter, and the New York Giants traded up for Jaxson Dart after landing Abdul Carter earlier in the draft.

Notably, big names like Shedeur Sanders and Will Johnson did not come off the board on Thursday. This means there could be even more drama on Friday as teams could scramble to stop the slides of some impressive talents.

Let’s predict how rounds two and three will go after seeing the first round.

Round 2

33. Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

Shockingly, Jaxson Dart went off the board before Sanders. No team traded up for Sanders at the end of the first round, so expect the Browns to take the Colorado pick with the first pick of the second. Cleveland gets a big personality and a potential franchise passer.

34. Houston Texans: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

The Texans didn’t pick in the first round after trading with the New York Giants. With the second pick of the second round, the Texans get a player who they could’ve selected with their original pick. Emmanwori is a durable safety who is impressive against the run and has blazing speed.

35. Tennessee Titans: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

The Titans landed their franchise passer in round one, and now get a potentially elite edge-rusher in the second. Ezeiruaku is a high-motor edge-rusher who racked up double-digit sacks in 2024.

36. Cleveland Browns: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri

The Browns added a defensive lineman and a quarterback with their first two picks, and now the team gets a weapon for their new quarterback. Burden needs to improve as a route-runnter, but the receiver has impressive hands and routinely gets yards after the catch.

37. Las Vegas Raiders: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Will Johnson was not supposed to be available at this point. The corner was even mocked to go in the top-10 picks, but ultimately, the corner lands in Las Vegas. The Raiders get an elite starter for the boundary.

38. New England Patriots: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Patriots got a franchise left tackle in the first round, and add a talented edge-rusher in the second. Scourton has elite length and speed off the edge and would instantly upgrade one of the league’s weakest pass rushes.

39. Chicago Bears: Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

The pass rush is clearly the biggest remaining need on this roster. Mike Green is another player who shouldn’t be available in the second round, and the Bears immediately pounce. Green and Montez Sweat would form an exciting pass-rush duo.

40. New Orleans Saints: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

The Saints went with an offensive lineman in the first round, and now the team adds a talented corner in the second. Revel dealt with injury in 2024, but when healthy, he’s as good as any corner in this class.

41. Chicago Bears: Aireontae Ersery, OL, Minnesota

The Bears use their next second-rounder to add a potential star at left tackle. The team isn’t sold on Braxton Jones long-term, and Ersery could eventually be a franchise player.

42. New York Jets: Tre Harris, Ole Miss, WR

The Jets added protection for Justin Fields, now they need to add a weapon. Tre Harris has WR1 potential and would form an electric duo with Garrett Wilson.

43. San Francisco 49ers: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

Trey Amos is another corner who fell further than many expected. The 49ers need to add talent at corner, making Amos a perfect fit. The corner fits in best on the outside.

44. Dallas Cowboys: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State

The Cowboys would’ve loved to have Ashton Jeanty, but this is a deep class. Judkins contributes on the ground and as a pass-catcher. The Ohio State product should immediately contribute for the starting gig.

45. Indianapolis Colts: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA

Carson Schwesinger is a player who got some serious buzz the closer we got to the draft. The UCLA product is the best off-ball linebacker available and the Colts get a running mate for Zaire Franklin.

46. Los Angeles Rams: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

The Rams didn’t have a first-round pick, but they’re likely okay with how it ended up. The team gets a dynamic, potential-RB1 who can contribute right away in Henderson.

47. Arizona Cardinals: Jonah Savaiinaea, OL, Arizona

The Cardinals stick in the trenches, this time selecting an in-state guard. Savaiinaea has impressive strength and fluid movement for his size, giving the Cardinals a starting guard in the second round.

48. Miami Dolphins: Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame

The Dolphins added to the defensive interior in the first round, and they go to the secondary in the second. Xavier Watts is an elite prospect who played his best ball in the biggest games.

49. Cincinnati Bengals: Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo

The Bengals continue to overhaul their defense, adding an in-state defensive lineman in Alexander. The Toledo product stuffs runs and showed promise as a pass-rusher on the interior.

50. Seattle Seahawks: Landon Jackson, EDGE, Arkansas

The Seahawks have to love how this shakes out, as the team gets an explosive edge-rusher in the second round. The Seahawks need more production out of the pass rush and Jackson provides that.

51. Denver Broncos: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State

The Broncos still need a running back, but the receivers are thinning out fast. Jayden Higgins is a big-bodied receiver with WR1 potential. Bo Nix needs more reliable targets.

52. Seattle Seahawks: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

Benjamin Morrison would’ve been a first-round selection if not for an injury-shortened 2024 campaign. Morrison is a twitchy corner with good instincts who could start on the boundary in Seattle.

53. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: J.T. Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State

J.T. Tuimoloau is another player who easily could’ve been a first-round pick. The edge-rusher racked up double-digit sacks in 2024 and gives Todd Bowles’ defense a talented defender to build around.

54. Green Bay Packers: Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State

Nobody knows if Jaire Alexander is going to be on the team, and Eric Stokes left in free agency. The Packers stay patient and get a starting-caliber boundary corner in the second round.

55. Los Angeles Chargers: Alfred Collins, DT, Texas

The Chargers love to build in the trenches, and Collins is a massive, run-stuffing presence. Harbaugh would’ve loved to get Kenneth Grant, but Collins is a nice consolation prize.

56. Buffalo Bills: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss

The Bills need another edge-rusher and Princely Umanmielen is a perfect fit. The defender excelled for two different SEC schools and has the motor to be a relentless pass-rusher.

57. Carolina Panthers: Jared Wilson, OL, Georgia

The Panthers need to protect Bryce Young better, and Jared Wilson can help in that regard. The lineman can play center or guard, giving the team a versatile interior blocker.

58. Houston Texans: Wyatt Milum, OL, West Virginia

The Texans weren’t able to get a lineman in the first round, but they get one in the second. Milum was elite at tackle in college, but evaluators see him as a guard. The Texans need both positions so it makes sense.

59. Baltimore Ravens: Tate Ratledge, OL, Georgia

The Ravens get a Patrick Mekari replacement in the second round. Ratledge is a strong blocker who played against tough competition in college and dominated.

60. Detroit Lions: Bradyn Swinson, EDGE, LSU

The Lions go defense again, taking a promising edge-rusher in Swinson. The team needs to help out Aidan Hutchinson, and Swinson could develop into a special player.

61. Washington Commanders: Andrew Mukuba, S, Texas

The Commanders get a Jeremy Chinn replacement in Andrew Mukuba. Mukuba is a downhill safety who isn’t afraid of contact and has solid coverage skills as well.

62. Buffalo Bills: Kyle Williams, WR, Washington State

Getting more help for Josh Allen is always smart. Williams is a reliable, sure-handed receiver who knows how to get open. This is great value at this point.

63. Kansas City Chiefs: Oluwafemi Oladejo, EDGE, UCLA

The Chiefs need to protect their quarterback better and get to opposing quarterbacks better. Both of those boxes are checked after the first two rounds.

64. Philadelphia Eagles: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue

The Eagles let a solid player fall in their lap with Mbow. The tackle could eventually take over as a starter but is a solid swing option for now.

Round 3

65. New York Giants: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU

66. Kansas City Chiefs: Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee

67. Cleveland Browns: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

68. Las Vegas Raiders: Jalen Royals, WR, Utah State

69. New England Patriots: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford

70. Jacksonville Jaguars: T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina

71. New Orleans Saints: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama

72. Chicago Bears: Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson

73. New York Jets: Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green

74. Carolina Panthers: Lathan Ransom, S, Ohio State

75. San Francisco 49ers: Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M

76. Dallas Cowboys: Jacob Parrish, CB, Kansas State

77. New England Patriots: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami

78. Arizona Cardinals: Jack Bech, WR, TCU

79. Houston Texans: Ozzy Trapilo, OL, Boston College

80. Indianapolis Colts: Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville

81. Cincinnati Bengals: Cameron Williams, OL, Texas

82. Seattle Seahawks: Jaylin Noel, WR, Iowa State

83. Pittsburgh Steelers: Cameron Skattebo, RB, Arizona State

84. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kevin Winston Jr., S, Penn State

85. Denver Broncos: D.J. Giddens, RB, Kansas State

86. Los Angeles Chargers: Terrance Ferguson, TE, Oregon

87. Green Bay Packers: Ashton Gillotte, EDGE, Louisville

88. Jacksonville Jaguars: Emery Jones, OL, LSU

89. Houston Texans: Tez Johnson, WR, Oregon

90. Los Angeles Rams: Chris Paul Jr., LB, Ole Miss

91. Baltimore Ravens: Kyle Kennard, EDGE, South Carolina

92. Seattle Seahawks: Charles Grant, OL, William & Mary

93. New Orleans Saints: David Walker, EDGE, Central Arkansas

94. Cleveland Browns: Logan Brown, OL, Kansas

95. Kansas City Chiefs: Billy Bowman, S, Oklahoma

96. Philadelphia Eagles: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State

97. Minnesota Vikings: Dorian Strong, CB, Virginia Tech

98. Miami Dolphins: Tory Horton, WR, Colorado State

99. Houston Texans: Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky

100. San Francisco 49ers: Miles Frazier, OL, LSU

101. Atlanta Falcons: Nohl Williams, CB, California

102. Detroit Lions: Savion Williams, WR, TCU
