Democrats Open Up Biggest Polling Lead Over Republicans in Eight Years
A new poll has shown that a clear majority of voters would choose to elect a Democrat candidate to Congress if the midterms were held today.
The PBS News/NPR/Marist poll found that 55% would elect a Democratic candidate, compared to 41% who would vote for a Republican.
The poll showing the 14-point lead is the largest for the Democrats since November 2017.
