Dodgers Predicted To Sign $427 Million Superstar In League-Altering Move
The Los Angeles Dodgers have won back-to-back World Series titles, and they could look to improve their roster in free agency this winter. The Dodgers seemingly have a lot of money to spend this winter, which means they could go after one of the top talents on the market.
Pete Caldera of NorthJersey.com recently predicted the Dodgers would sign Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Tucker to a huge deal this winter. Tucker is projected to sign a monster $427 million deal, according to Jim Bowden of The Athletic.

“The world champs go to the top of the market, filling an outfield need with the talented lefty hitter,” Caldera wrote.
The Dodgers are seemingly the favorites to sign Tucker this winter, and it would completely wreck the league.
The Dodgers are the best team in baseball, and it doesn’t seem like it’s necessarily close at this point. The team has won back-to-back World Series titles, and they still have the money to make a run at Tucker.
Considering the Toronto Blue Jays have reportedly agreed to a $210 million deal with Dylan Cease, they’re likely out of the sweepstakes. That narrows the competition a bit for the Dodgers, which should be nightmare fuel for the rest of the league.
Tucker would fit perfectly in the Dodgers’ outfield as a replacement for Michael Conforto. Conforto’s time with the Dodgers was a disaster, but Tucker would likely eliminate the bad taste left in Los Angeles’ mouth from signing Conforto.
