Dog Who ‘Loves Anything With Wheels’ Obsessed With Trolley in Viral Video

A Staffordshire bull terrier named Tommy has captured viewers’ hearts on the internet with his unusual love for anything with wheels.

The heartwarming viral clip, shared on TikTok in July, under the username @tommybluestaff, shows Tommy’s owner carrying a loading trolley when the pup immediately falls in love with it, demanding a fun ride.

Tommy’s face shows how ecstatic he is about the trolley, enjoying every single moment as he gets carried around. “When we say that our dog loves anything with wheels… We mean ANYTHING. Today it’s this trolley,” reads a caption shared with the viral clip.

The poster, Holly, from Australia, told Newsweek that Tommy is almost 3 years old, and he is the most important thing in her and her husband Dean’s lives.

“Tommy is the absolute light of our lives! We pretty much live to please him and bring him joy,” she said.

“When he was about 3 months old, he jumped on a skateboard, with absolutely no encouragement needed; and since then, he obsessed with anything with wheels. Skateboards, scooters, bikes, trolleys, you name it. He also loves surf boards, boogie boards, paddle boards, kayaks. He really does live life to the fullest I think.”

The American Kennel Club (AKC) says that Staffordshire bull terriers are very affectionate with family and are also great with children. These pups can grow up to 14 to 16 inches tall and weigh between 24 and 38 pounds.

“These are true-blue loyal companions, but the old fighting instinct still exists within, making it vital that Staffie pups be socialized with other dogs to learn good canine manners,” the AKC website added.

The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received over 1.2 million views and more than 158,400 likes on the platform.

One user, Delishsammich, commented: “He realizes that if it has wheels he doesn’t have to walk.”

Phoenix_gsd posted: “I swear blue dogs are the quirkiest dogs!”

Kujo and Co. wrote: “Oh. My. Goodness. That sweet little face. Can people on this app stop giving me more dog breeds I want to own.”

Lady-Nerol added: “He needs his own little car like the kids drive out a hat on him some sunglasses he can cruise the neighborhood.”
