Donald Trump Responds to Claims He’s a Nazi
U.S. President Donald Trump dismissed attacks by critics who call him a Nazi and blamed the media for such rhetoric being used against him.
“Look, they call me a Nazi all the time,” Trump said during a 60 Minutes interview that aired on Sunday. “I’m not a Nazi, I’m the opposite. I’m somebody that’s saving our country. But they call me Nazi.”
“They have talking points, you know? They have just talking points,” Trump continued.
“And the press is largely responsible for it. The fake news, what they’ve done—one of the greatest terms I’ve ever come up with is fake news—what they’ve done to our country is very bad. They have to change around. Now, nobody believes the fake news. Nobody believes them.”
