Eagles’ AJ Brown Says Performance Against Steelers Was to ‘Shut Everyone Up’
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown stood proudly in front of the media following Sunday’s 27-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Upon the team’s passing game being publicly criticized all week after a lackluster 22-16 victory over the lowly Carolina Panthers, Brown celebrated a touchdown catch in the first quarter by performing a prepared dance routine with quarterback Jalen Hurts.
“That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up,” Brown said in reference to the celebration.
Brown went on to tally eight catches for 110 yards as a rebound from the four catches for 43 yards that he had mustered against the Panthers.
The Eagles totaled 401 yards of offense and dominated possession of the football in the battle of Pennsylvania.
They improve to 12-2 while the Steelers drop to 10-4 on the season.
