Eagles Announce Jalen Hurts Milestone After Vikings Game
Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles put together a masterful offensive performance on Sunday, taking down the Minnesota Vikings with a 28-22 final score in Week 7.
Hurts finished the game with 326 yards, three touchdowns and zero interceptions on 19 of 23 passing, giving him a perfect 158.3 passer rating.
This outing was enough to etch Hurts in franchise history. The reigning Super Bowl MVP is now just the third quarterback in Eagles franchise history to record a perfect passer rating — joining Nick Foles and Donovan McNabb.
“In good company! Jalen Hurts joins Nick Foles and Donovan McNabb as the third player in Eagles history to post a perfect passer rating!” Eagles History wrote on X.
The Eagles’ official account reposted this message on social media.

Hurts’ perfect passing day resulted in some big numbers for wide receivers A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith. Brown finished the game with four catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns, and Smith led the way with nine catches for 183 yards and one touchdown.
“The thing was to come in and establish the run, that’s what we wanted to come in and do, and the game just flowed the way it did,” Hurts said after the game, via ESPN.
“We were able to be efficient in the pass game, [offense coordinator Kevin Patullo] was very timely, and I think we were able to doctor up some things on the sideline and work through some things, but those guys made big-time plays. [Smith] had a hell of a day. Tough. Size ain’t nothing to him the way he plays. It was good to see.”
