Eagles Star WR AJ Brown Questionable to Return After Knee Injury
Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown has been determined questionable to return after suffering a knee injury in the Week 9 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Eagles announced that Brown was downgraded to out.
So far this game, Brown has recorded two receptions on four targets for 36 receiving yards.
Brown has missed a majority of this season due to injury. In the four games he has played, Brown recorded 21 receptions for 408 yards and three touchdowns.
Brown began his football career with Ole Miss in 2016. In his freshman year, he recorded 29 receptions for 412 yards and two touchdowns.
In his sophomore season, Brown’s production exploded, leading the SEC in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. In total, he caught 75 passes for 1,252 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Brown was named first-team All-SEC for his play and won the Conerly Trophy, recognizing him as the best football player in the state of Mississippi.
In 2018, Brown was once again named first-team All-SEC after making 85 receptions for a conference-leading 1,320 yards and six touchdowns.
Brown declared for the 2019 draft, where he was selected by the Tennessee Titans with the 51st overall pick in the second round.

In his rookie season, Brown made 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games. He also rushed three times for 60 yards and a touchdown. He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie team for his efforts.
After suffering knee injuries early in the season, Brown recorded 70 receptions for 1,075 yards and 11 touchdowns and was named to his first Pro Bowl.
Brown’s third season was also shortened due to injury, resulting in 63 receptions for 869 yards and five touchdowns. The Titans then traded Brown to the Eagles for the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Brown then became an integral piece in Philadelphia’s run to the Super Bowl, catching 88 passes for a career-high 1,496 yards and 11 touchdowns. In the Super Bowl, Brown recorded six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Last season, Brown further established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league, making 106 receptions for 1,456 yards and seven touchdowns.
In total, Brown has been named to three Pro Bowls and was a second-team All-Pro twice.
