‘F*** Off’: Rory McIlroy Not Pleased with PGA Championship Postponement
Rory McIlroy is over the weather at Quail Hollow for the PGA Championship.
Many hoped the course would dry out and play harder after rain left earlier in the week, but that is not the case.
Early Saturday morning, the PGA of America had to postpone practice time, and eventually, the start of the third round was delayed until after 11 a.m. ET. When the horn first blew, cameras caught McIlroy’s priceless reaction.
“F**k, O**,” McIlroy mouthed on camera. The funny part here is that the five-time major winner cut his eyes over and saw the camera on him, but proceeded to say the explicitives anyway.
Many comments on that post feel McIlroy is whining, but that does not seem to be the case. The way he looks at the camera and then proceeds to say something off the wall, could he have done it on purpose?
After things were shut down Monday and the additional rain, another delay is never fun.
However, it does not seem like he is that upset about it. These things happen, and no one can control the weather. McIlroy is likely annoyed, but he knows that it happens in the South during this time of year.

It gave him more prep time to prepare for the PGA Championship’s third round. After the news that he had a non-conforming driver in the bag ahead of the tournament and only hit 35.71% of fairways, he seems frustrated.
The reigning Masters champ has not spoken to the media in the last 48 hours since the tournament started.
It’s not that he has to speak with the media because there is not much McIlroy can do about the driver. He changed it out and is using a legal one.
McIlroy sits at 1-over on the tournament after going 74-69 through the first 36 holes. He is nine shots back of the leader, Jhonattan Vegas, who sits at 8-under overall.
It does not seem likely that McIlroy will win the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow, but it is a moving day—anything could happen.
There is a lot of golf left to play before the 2025 winner hoists the Wanamaker Trophy.
