Kristin Cavallari and Mark Estes have an important relationship update for their fans after just seven months together.
A source informed People that the 37-year-old former Hills star is officially single. Cavallari herself later confirmed the split on Friday, September 27, during a stop on Alex Cooper’s Unwell Tour in Austin, Texas. She referred to the breakup as “fresh,” with a video circulating on social media of the moment.
Fans ran to the comment section to leave their thoughts about the sudden breakup. “I started to wonder when he was posting daily shirtless thirst traps,” speculated one fan. “Our national nightmare is over,” another quipped.

Other fans brought up the couple’s age difference, with Estes being 13 years younger than Cavallari. “🤢, HE Is closer in Age to Her kid than to her🤢🤢,” one fan noted, mentioning the TV personality’s children whom she shares with her ex Jay Cutler; sons Camden and Jaxon, 10, and daughter Saylor, 8. Another said, “No kidding did not live in same place she was way older he did it for recognition.”
The split also comes shortly after Estes appeared on Cavallari’s Let’s Be Honest podcast on September 3, where he discussed his goals for their relationship. During the episode, he expressed his desire to eventually “get married” and have children, although he emphasized the importance of not rushing things. “Of course, I want to have my own child one day, but we’ve decided to take our time,” Estes explained. “I don’t believe we need to make any major decisions at this point.”
The couple first made headlines in February 2024 when Cavallari shared their relationship on Instagram, captioning a selfie with Estes by saying, “He makes me happy 🤍.” He since has popped up on the mom of three’s Instagram every now and then, showing off romantic photos from their travels over the summer. They recently returned from a getaway to Greece, where Cavallari posted multiple photos of their trip on social media. In the posts, they appeared cozy and in love, sharing kisses and posing for the camera.
