Former NASCAR Driver Confirms Full-Time Racing Return In 2025

Former NASCAR driver Kasey Kahne is making an exciting return to the High Limit Racing series in 2025. After his last NASCAR Cup Series appearance in 2018, Kahne has continued to be a strong presence in the world of dirt track racing.

The series, co-owned by NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, is carving out its niche within dirt racing.

Kahne brings a wealth of experience and success to the forthcoming season. Beyond his 18 NASCAR Cup Series wins, he boasts an impressive track record including a 2000 USAC National Midget Series Championship and over 70 career open-wheel victories.

In 2023, he even earned the distinguished honor of being named among the NASCAR 75 Greatest Drivers. Despite closing his NASCAR chapter, he stayed committed to dirt track racing and contributed significantly as a team owner in 2024.

His team, Kasey Kahne Racing, recently celebrated a triumph with Brad Sweet clinching the 2024 championship. The presence of Eric Prutzman, an accomplished crew chief with an enviable record of six national sprint car championships, will serve as a tremendous asset for Kahne in upcoming races.

The increase in excitement surrounding the series is shown in the plans for the 2025 season opener scheduled to take place at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where Kahne and his team will take center stage. This event, which runs concurrently with a major NASCAR race on the adjacent track, presents a convergence of racing worlds.

The 2025 calendar promises an array of high-profile events, including the Joker’s Jackpot at Eldora Speedway and the 71st Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway. Such events pose the potential for six-figure payouts.

Furthermore, the series’ integration into fresh circuits across 20 states illustrates its ambition to extend its foothold. By introducing new destinations within Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Wisconsin, and Kentucky, High Limit Racing will expand its national presence.
