Former Steelers Star Joins Antonio Brown in Endorsing Donald Trump For President

Former Pittsburgh Steelers greats Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell attended Donald Trump’s rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania Saturday.

Brown, while sporting a Make America Great Again cap, and Bell greeted fans ahead of the rally.

The former NFL receiver even spoke at the rally to express his support for the Trump campaign.

“But I’m here today representing a man who carries those same values,” Brown said. “Donald Trump, he knows success, and he knows what it takes to make America great again. And to be real, we have all experienced highs and lows. Especially me in my career as a Super Bowl champion and life as a father to seven amazing children.

“I have experienced low points and have to overcome adversity. Just how I watched Donald Trump overcome adversity. No matter what the media threw at him, no matter what people say to try to bring him down, he continue to push forward and keep getting back up. And he’s always ready for the fight.”

Brown also gave a shoutout to Steelers fans in his rally speech. He also acknowledged how the media has called both him and the former president “crazy.”

“Honored to be here with the best fans in the world,” Brown said. “Make some noise for the Steelers fan. But before I get too deep in my speech, I want to say, I know the media is going to call me and Trump crazy for having me speak here. But I want to make this clear—we are not [crazy], they are. You know Kamala Harris and Tim Walz…did you really know they want to put tampons in the boys bathroom? Is that crazy? That’s really insane, right?”

Brown even dissed Walz by making fun of his former career before he entered the political landscape.

“And by the way Tampon Tim Walz, he isn’t a real football coach,” Brown said. “He could never guard me.”

Brown was referring to Walz coaching football at Alliance High School and Mankato West High School.

There has been speculation that Trump will attend the Pittsburgh Steelers’ matchup against the New York Jets on Sunday. He is expected to watch the game from a suite with Brown and Bell as well as elected officials.

Brown is a controversial figure in the world of football. He has been arrested for allegedly not paying child support and also faced an arrest warrant over domestic battery allegations. The allegations were later dropped.

A former trainer sued Brown in 2019 for alleged sexual assault. Brown denied the allegations and the case eventually reached a settlement.
