A former WWE star made a surprising announcement during Thursday’s episode of “TNA iMPACT.” JDC, known to WWE fans as Fandango, revealed that he’s made the decision to retire after “TNA Genesis” in January 2026.
The Rascalz expressed their surprise by JDC’s decision to walk away from professional wrestling. The faction challenged JDC and his System stablemates to an eight-man tag team match at “Turning Point.” The Rascalz will be getting a fourth teammate to even the odds on Friday.

JDC’s WWE Run as Fandango
JDC’s time with WWE dates back to 2006, when he signed a developmental contract under Deep South Wrestling. When WWE switched its developmental system to FCW, JDC performed under the brand. WWE would undergo a more permanent shift with “NXT,” which JDC was also featured on.
While JDC ended up performing on the main roster for several years, he didn’t become a WWE champion until he returned to “NXT.” After forming Breezango with Tyler Breeze, JDC captured his only WWE title. JDC and Breeze won the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship in 2020.
JDC’s time with the company came to an end when he was released from his contract in 2021. The following year, JDC signed with TNA Wrestling, where he has enjoyed success as a member of The System.
The wrestling career of JDC began in 1999. He initially appeared for TNA Wrestling during the company’s early years with NWA. JDC didn’t go into detail on his decision to retire other than to say he had a discussion about it with his wife. The 26-year veteran will turn 43 years old in July.
