Hamas Reacts to Trump’s Gaza Proposal
Palestinian militant group Hamas has rejected a proposal from U.S. President Donald Trump on the future of Gaza, saying the organization “will not allow these plans to pass.”
The President said Gaza’s residents would have “no choice but to leave” the enclave.
“We reject Trump’s statements,” said Sami Abu Zuhri, a senior Hamas official told Newsweek in a statement. “We consider them a recipe for creating chaos and tension in the region.”
