Hoda Kotb has showcased some incredible life moments with her children via Instagram through the years.

The morning show mainstay shares two adopted daughters with ex-fiance Joel Schiffman: Haley, born in 2017, and Hope, born in 2019.

Kotb, who will leave her hosting duties on Today in January 2025, cited wanting to spend more time with her children as one of the reasons behind her departure. “Obviously, I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have,” she remarked on a September episode of Today.

Halloween Costumes

Kotb shared a photo from Halloween of October 2021 with her daughters, who dressed up as unicorns, and Schiffman, who wore a moon costume. Kotb, for her part, coordinated with her ex-fiance by dressing up as the sun.

The broadcast journalist opted to caption her post with some spooky emojis, writing, “🎃👻❤️.”

Game Night

The Dateline alum pulled out a blast from the past as she posted a photo playing the classic game Twister with her daughters. In the snap, the girls are all stretched in different positions as they touch the colorful dots on the mat.

Christmas Time

In December 2023, Kotb got into the holiday spirit, sharing a selfie with her girls dressed in matching Christmas pajamas sitting by the ocean. The little ones held up peace signs in the picture.

Solar Eclipse

Monday, April 8, 2024, marked a momentous day as a total solar eclipse was visible from many parts of the United States — Kotb watched the celestial phenomenon with her two little ones in New York City and shared a photo on Instagram from the day.

In the picture, Kotb and her daughters don special solar eclipse glasses in different prints as they stand on a grassy lawn. Kotb let the photo speak for itself, not writing out a caption.

Take Your Child to Work Day

Another April 2024 event Kotb marked with an Instagram photo was National Take Your Child to Work Day. The Virginia Tech alum posted an Instagram carousel with her kids alongside today co-host Al Roker.

The cover shot features a candid photo of Haley and her mom hugging while Hope while Roker stood beside them. In the second snap, the foursome huddled together as they posed for the camera.

The journalist wrote, “Bring your kid to work day ❤️❤️,” for her caption.

60th Birthday

The mom of two celebrated her 60th birthday with her family, sharing an Instagram carousel of photos from the morning festivities. The post included a candid shot of her opening presents while her two little ones watched. Among the images in the carousel was also one of the girls smiling with their grandmother, Sameha Kotb.

The TV anchor captioned the August 2024 post, “Great bday morning!! Lucky me xoxoxo.”

First Day of School

Haley and Hope started a new school in 2024 as Kotb moved her family from New York City to the suburbs. To kick off their first day in September, Kotb shared a photo of herself grinning with her children, who had their backpacks on.

Vacation Time

In December 2024, the Oklahoma native went to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, with her kiddos. She shared an Instagram Carousel with numerous photos from their trip to the theme park, including one smiling in front of the classic Universal globe with her hands wrapped around Haley and Hope.
