How The Kid LAROI Celebrated His 21st Birthday
Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek’s network of contributors
The Kid LAROI rang in his 21st birthday in true style on Saturday, August 17, with an unforgettable bash at XS Nightclub.
The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter arrived at the iconic venue, which is located in the Wynn Resort and Casino, close to 12:30 a.m., accompanied by a group of about ten friends. The celebration kicked off in a VIP section where he enjoyed an Aperol Spritz cocktail and took tequila shots to mark his special milestone.
The packed crowd later joined in singing “Happy Birthday” to LAROI while confetti printed with his face fell to the floor of the venue. Large LED screens flashing birthday wishes, oversized childhood photos of LAROI, and a three-tiered cake topped with silver “21” numbers and album cover designs also added to the celebratory night.
LAROI then joined Wynn Nightlife’s resident DJ, Gryffin, in the booth, where he treated fans to live renditions of his hits “Stay” and “Girls.” To surprise his audience, he also debuted a brand-new, unreleased track aptly titled “Aperol Spritz” while holding a glass of the cocktail in hand, calling it his “favorite drink.”
The musician then thanked the crowd for their support and shared his excitement about turning 21 in Las Vegas. The party continued until around 3 a.m., after which the birthday star and his crew called it a night.
Earlier in the day, LAROI was spotted at Encore Beach Club with The Chainsmokers, Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall, where they played his hit “Nights Like This” as they partied together in the DJ booth.
