Arizona enters Saturday night’s matchup ranked No. 22 in the country with a 19-9 record and a 13-4 record in Big 12 play. The Wildcats are coming off a win, too, having just defeated Utah 83-66 behind 23 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
On the season, Love is averaging 16.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists on 38.3 percent shooting from the floor. Love, a UNC transfer, is a fifth-year player with 165 games’ worth of experience so far in his career.

Iowa State will be desperate for a win against Arizona after such a tough week of results. In the defeat against Oklahoma State, forward Joshua Jefferson led the way with 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists, while Nate Heise had 13 points and six rebounds.
Iowa State still ranks 13th on analytics website KenPom, with the 23rd-ranked defense and 11th-ranked offense, while Arizona is 12th overall on KenPom, No. 17 in offense and No. 18 in defense.
