Matas Buzelis and Nikola Vučević scored 24 points each as Chicago closed out a home-and-home sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 136-125 road win on Friday night. Vučević added 15 rebounds while Josh Giddey scored 17 points and Coby White contributed 13 points and nine assists. The Bulls steadily pulled away in the fourth quarter after Cleveland closed to within two with a big third-quarter surge. Seven Chicago players scored in double figures in the victory.

The Hawks lost their second in a row and third in four games on Friday night as the visiting San Antonio Spurs cruised to a 126-98 rout. Trae Young, just back from a sprained MCL, rested on the back end of a back-to-back while Nickeil Alexander-Walker paced Atlanta with 23 points. Jalen Johnson finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the loss as the Hawks shot just 40.4% and turned the ball over 17 times.

The Bulls won the first meeting between the teams in Chicago, taking a 128-123 win on Oct. 27, and the teams wrap up their season series on Tuesday night. White leads the Bulls, averaging 21.2 points, while Giddey puts up 20.1 points and 8.8 assists per game, and Vučević posts 16.1 points and 9.3 rebounds a night. Johnson averages 23.3 points, 10.5 boards, and 8.2 assists for Atlanta, with Alexander-Walker getting 20.7 points per game.
