The Golden Bears’ season has been a roller coaster. After enduring a four-game losing streak in the middle of the season, Cal managed to finish 3-2 in their last five games. But they’re still licking their wounds from a 38-6 blowout loss to SMU in their regular-season finale.
Cal will need to shake off their recent struggles and bounce back in a big way, they will need to score points if they want to keep up with the No. 24 ranked Rebels.
UNLV is on the brink of history. Sitting at 10-3, they’re aiming for their 11th win of the season, a feat the Rebels haven’t accomplished since 1984. Ranked No. 24 in the country, the Rebels have already exceeded expectations, finishing as the Mountain West Conference regular-season runner-up.
Their last game, however, was a stumble. UNLV fell 21-7 to Boise State in the MWC title game, where their offense struggled to find a rhythm.
This will be a great night of college football bowl action on Wednesday, who will take home the LA Bowl trophy?
