Holcombe led the Wolverines with 14 points, with Trevan Leonhardt going for 12 points, seven rebounds, and four steals. Hawkins blocked four shots in 21 minutes off the bench.
The Wolverines took two of three from the Lancers during the regular season. Holcombe averages 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds for Utah Valley, while Leonhardt gets 12.3 points and 6.0 assists per game. Daniels leads California Baptist with an average of 23.2 points, with Martel Williams scoring 12.8 points per game and Ndong grabbing 6.5 boards a night.
