The No. 19 Gonzaga Bulldogs (2-0) return to “The New Kennel” at McCarthey Athletic Center on Tuesday night when they host the 23rd-ranked Creighton Bluejays (1-0) in a battle of ranked foes.

Gonzaga rode a big first half on Saturday night to an 83-68 win over Oklahoma at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in the Bad Boy Mower Series. The Bulldogs shot 53.7% in the first half while holding the Sooners to 30.8% accuracy, opening a 19-point lead at the break. Graduate student Graham Ike finished with 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Grand Canyon transfer Tyon Grant-Foster came off the bench for 14 points. Redshirt junior Braden Huff and Florida State transfer Jalen Worley dropped in 13 points each.
Creighton opened its season on Wednesday night with a 92-76 victory over visiting South Dakota. Iowa transfer Owen Freeman came off the bench for 19 points in 19 minutes, with Charlotte transfer Nik Graves finishing with 15 points, five assists, and three steals, and sophomore Jackson McAndrew adding 13 points and seven rebounds.
Gonzaga finished 26-9 last season with a second-round loss to top-seeded Houston in the NCAA tournament, while Creighton’s 25-11 campaign ended in a similar fashion with a loss to No. 1-seed Auburn in the second round. The Bulldogs have won the last three meetings between the teams, most recently an 83-65 win in the Sweet Sixteen in 2021, while the Bluejays lead the all-time series 6-5.
