Jacksonville looks to bounce back from a 12-7 loss to the Vikings. The team was without quarterback Trevor Lawrence for that one and turned to backup Mac Jones.
The good news? Jones rushed for a score. The bad news? He was 14-for-22 passing for 111 yards and was picked off twice. The Jaguars offense couldn’t get anything going in the defeat. Travis Etienne had 11 carries for 44 yards while Tank Bigsby had just two carries for four yards.
Detroit is coming off an exciting win over the Houston Texans. It looked like the Texans had figured Detroit out in the first half as they took a 23-7 to the break, but Detroit mounted a comeback.
The Lions won in spite of quarterback Jared Goff tossing five interceptions. He was 15-for-30 for 240 yards, throwing a pair of touchdowns to Sam LaPorta and Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Jake Bates kicked a 52-yard field goal as time expired to give Detroit the come-from-behind victory.
Tune in on Sunday to find out which of these teams gets the victory. Will it be the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Detroit Lions who come out ahead?
