The Lakers lead the season series 2-0 and will look to continue their dominance over the Jazz, who are reeling after back-to-back losses. In their most recent outing, Utah fell 130-110 to the Clippers on Saturday, struggling with turnovers (20 total) and poor defense, allowing LA to shoot 58% from the field. Utah has now given up 130+ points in consecutive games, a concerning trend heading into a showdown with LeBron James and company.
The Lakers, on the other hand, are coming off a 124-117 victory over the Indiana Pacers, despite being short-handed. Austin Reaves exploded for 45 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals, leading LA to an impressive offensive performance, shooting 52.3% from the field and outrebounding Indiana 46-38.
Luka Doncic will make his Lakers debut on Monday night in Los Angeles. He has been out with a calf injury since the trade, and fans are eager to see him finally hit the court in the purple and gold.
