Jamal Murray also had a huge game in the win, scoring 32 points and hitting seven three-pointers, as he continues his run at a first-time All-Star nod in 2025-26.
Saturday’s matchup against Houston should be exciting, as this could very well be a preview of the Western Conference Finals, with both teams playing great basketball on the campaign. The Rockets are 16-8 on the year, although they have lost two games in a row. In their most recent outing, Houston fell 133-128 in overtime to the lowly New Orleans Pelicans, in what was the upset of the night in the NBA. In the defeat, Kevin Durant led the way with 32 points and seven rebounds. Turkish big man Alperen Sengun also had a huge game, scoring 28 points to go with 11 rebounds and eight assists.
This will be the second matchup of the week between these two teams, as Denver defeated Houston 128-125 on Monday, thanks to Jokic’s 39 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists, which was enough to offset Sengun’s own impressive outing. Sengun had 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in the loss.
