The Jaguars had a strong finish to the regular season, winning four of their last six games, but they enter the bowl game licking their wounds from a wild 45-38 loss to the Texas State Bobcats in their finale. The Broncos punched their ticket to bowl season in dramatic fashion, snapping a three-game losing streak in the final week of the regular season. A 26-18 win over the Eastern Michigan Eagles clinched bowl eligibility and showcased their ability to bounce back when it matters most.
Who will take home the Salute to Veterans Bowl trophy? South Alabama’s offense has the firepower to put up points, but Western Michigan’s defense is capable of keeping things close.
