Rookie Dylan Harper added 16 points off the bench, and Devin Vassell dropped 15 points. Kornet blocked three shots in the game, which the Spurs played without reigning Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle (hip) as well.

Cleveland cut an 18-point deficit to five with 2:37 left before the visiting Portland Trail Blazers closed out a 122-110 win that marked the Cavaliers’ first loss this season to a team with a losing record. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 33 points while Evan Mobley finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks. Cleveland played without Jarrett Allen (finger), Sam Merrill (hand), and Larry Nance Jr. (calf).

Fox averages 25.0 points and 6.3 assists for San Antonio, with Vassell scoring 15.7 points per game and Keldon Johnson getting 13.0 points and 6.5 rebounds a night. Mitchell paces the Cavaliers with an average of 30.7 points, with Mobley posting 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and Darius Garland netting 13.6 points and 6.5 assists in eight games since his return from toe surgery.
