Czechia was second behind Canada in Group B with two wins, one overtime win, and one loss. It beat Switzerland 6-2 in the quarterfinals, then defeated Canada 6-4 in the semifinals.

After back-to-back third-place finishes in this tournament, Czechia has a chance to win its first World Juniors title since 2001. It last appeared in the 2023 final, losing in overtime to Canada.
