Doncic is a difference maker in the playoffs, averaging over 30 points per game during the postseason. This is the first time in his career that he has had a teammate of James’ caliber by his side, and Austin Reaves has also developed into one of the best third options in the league, giving the Lakers plenty of firepower.
Edwards needs to take this series over to give his team a chance. He averaged 27.6 points per game this season and is always a highlight waiting to happen. He was drawing comparisons to the great Michael Jordan during the 2024 postseason, and he will hope to hear his name in those conversations again this time around.
