On Saturday night, UFC fans get another exciting and hard-hitting pay-per-view, with the main event featuring the 31-year-old middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis (22-2-0) out of South Africa, going up against American loudmouth and former champion Sean Strickland (29-6-0).

The two rivals faced off once before, just over a year ago on Jan. 20, 2024, in a split-decision victory by Du Plessis. By winning that bout, Du Plessis took the middleweight championship belt away from Strickland.
Now, Strickland gets his chance at revenge and to get his title back, making Saturday night’s UFC 312 dramatic and having a lot at stake. You won’t want to miss out if you are a UFC fan.

The co-main event will be a women’s strawweight title bout between champion Zhang Weili (25-3-0) and American challenger Tatiana Suarez (11-0-0), who remains undefeated so far in her promising career.
The prelims for UFC 312 will air on ESPN2 at 8:00 p.m. ET out of Qudos Bank Arena, a venue in Sydney, Australia.
The prelims will feature three bouts featuring fighters from Australia, so the crowd will be rocking, cheering on the local scrappers. Countryman Jack Jenkins (13-3-0) will fight Brazilian Gabriel Santos (11-2-0) in a featherweight bout in the prelims, Tom Nolan (8-1-0) will face Russia’s Viacheslav Borshchev (8-4-1) and Colby Thickneese (7-0-0) will take on Georgia’s Aleksandre Topuria (5-1-0), with Topuria, the older brother of UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria, making his company debut on Saturday.
