A scroll through Ice-T’s social media feed shows a mix of wisdom, selfies, and sweet moments with his wife, Coco Austin. But glimpses of their 9-year-old daughter, Chanel? Those are rare — which is why his latest post has fans buzzing.
On Sunday, January 19, the 66-year-old Law & Order star took to Instagram to share a candid shot of himself and Chanel perched on stage equipment, twinning in matching black outfits. Chanel wore her long, wavy hair down and propped her chin on her hand, knees tucked into her chest, as she sat behind her dad, who completed his look with a black cap.

“At some point you realize there’s someone watching every move you make…… ❤️,” Ice-T, whose real name is Tracy Marrow, captioned the post. After the picture made its way onto the internet, a few fans noted Chanel’s resemblance to her famous mom, however, most couldn’t get over how much she takes after her dad.
“She’s your mini!! So adorable! ❤️” one person wrote.
“You’re twin 😭😭😭,” pointed out another.
“Aww mini Ice! So cute,” chimed in a third.
“She looks just like her pops,” someone else said.
“T W I N P O W E R ❤️❤️❤️” another added.
While the comments continued to pour in, gushing over Ice-T’s “mini me,” the proud dad admitted last year that Chanel isn’t always thrilled about the comparisons. “I think she kind of gets irritated with people telling her she looks like her dad instead of her mom,” he shared with Today in 2023. “But if you look at any old pictures of Coco, there’s similarities there.”
The post comes just weeks after Ice-T made headlines during a tense encounter with a police officer. The “I’m Your Pusher” rapper was stopped for driving his Porsche with expired tags.
Captured on bodycam footage, the exchange escalated when Ice-T was threatened with his car being towed, leading to a heated argument. Despite the clash, the situation was eventually de-escalated by additional officers, but not before Ice-T received four citations.
