Internet Obsessed With Woman’s Late Night Shopping—Cat Seems Less Impressed

Raise your hand if you’ve ever made any drunk purchases and then deeply regretted them after.

That wasn’t the case, however, for one TikTok user who couldn’t be happier with her drunk purchases. But, while she may be over the moon with her latest buys, her cat seems very unimpressed.

TikTok user @angrafus3 posted a hilarious clip on social media revealing the unique items she bought after a few too many glasses of wine, and they’re certainly out of the ordinary. Other people might buy themselves new clothes or maybe shoes, but not @angrafus3. Instead, she ordered several different styles of cat hats (yes, hats for her cat).

Needless to say, there was no buyer’s remorse when they arrived either, as the Canadian pet owner couldn’t wait to try them out on her cat and share the results with the internet. Despite her enthusiasm, her cat didn’t seem best pleased about the new accessories as he begrudgingly allowed her to dress him as a banana and a lion.

Since the clip was posted on June 26, it has delighted social media users, leading to more than 1.2 million views and over 237,600 likes on TikTok already.

Nowadays, it’s all too easy to spend your money without even getting off the couch. With just a few clicks, you can buy several new hats specially designed for your cat.

According to data from Statista, clothing was the most popular online purchase in 2022, with 36 percent, followed by shoes at 31 percent. For many, the choice between online shopping and walking round a store is a no brainer. But when asked why they prefer browsing online, 56 percent of consumers said it’s because they can shop at any time of the day, 50 percent said it’s more convenient to shop at home, and 49 percent believe it’s easier to find cheaper items online.

Among the other reasons why customers would rather spend the money from the comfort of their home, Statista highlights the convenience of having items delivered to their doorstep, ease of access to the internet, and greater product range.

While it may not be clear if the cat has adorned any of the hats since this video was captured, they certainly provided many laughs for his owner and the internet.

The viral clip has already amassed over 2,300 comments on TikTok, as many social media users lauded @angrafus3 for her extraordinary online shopping choices and praised her cat for his impeccable patience. Not to mention, TikTok users couldn’t get over how handsome he looked in the hats too.

One comment reads: “For the sake of cats everywhere: do not drink and Prime!”

Another person responded: “Ok but why does the lion one look SO good on him.”

One TikTok user added: “Love that he’s letting you do that! But also, the look…you better give him more treats or sleep with eyes open.”

While a fourth comment reads: “I’m not exaggerating when I say that’s the handsomest prettiest cat I have ever seen.”
