The Jaguars currently have the No. 5 pick in the first round on Thursday night. However, it appears they could be attempting to move up to land a better player. They could also make a surprise pick at No. 5, or even trade down in a potentially massive move.

Russini also reported that there are a handful of teams trying to trade up in the first round, or add another pick on Thursday night.
“The phone lines are getting busier as the first round nears, per sources,” Russini reported. “The Broncos and Texans are attempting to move up the draft order, while the Giants are trying to acquire a second first-round pick at the back end of the round.”
