Jets’ Breece Hall Reacts to Sauce Gardner Blockbuster Trade With Cryptic Post
The New York Jets appear to have drawn the first of potentially many trades amid their presumed fire sale. Shockingly, the team sent All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts for two first-round picks and wide receiver Adonai Mitchell.

Though Gardner’s being sent to a new team is shocking enough, the Jets may not be done. There have been multiple reports surrounding running back Breece Hall, though nothing has yet been revealed.
Hall has been vocal about wanting to be traded, though he has done so with cryptic messages on social media. He has now reacted to the massive Gardner trade with a new cryptic post.
Hall posted a famous GIF of Anthony Anderson wiping down a column while staring at another character from the movie “Life.” While this could just simply be a hilarious reaction to the Jets move, it might also indicate that the star running back is waiting and watching until he is announced in a trade.

The Jets are currently 1-7, and the Gardner move has only proven what many believe, which is that the team is set for a major reset in 2026. It is believed that Aaron Glenn will return as the team’s head coach in 2026, and general manager Darren Mougey will also be given a fresh slate next season.
Naturally, a full reset means an organization completely cleans house, but Glenn and the front office were put together this past offseason with hopes of turning the franchise around. The good news is the Jets can stack draft picks to help facilitate a huge change in the current roster.
Sending Gardner is something that will certainly impact the team heavily, but they can find another star secondary player in the 2026 NFL Draft and beyond.
Hall might also be on the move next, as it was just reported that the Jets are also trading defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.
