Joe Biden Trashes Donald Trump in First Interview Since Leaving White House

Former President Joe Biden accused the current President Donald Trump of “modern-day appeasement” over his dealings with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Ukraine, in his first interview since leaving the White House in January.
Biden, speaking to BBC News, said to listen to what Putin had said about taking Ukraine and that the Russian leader “can’t stand the fact that…the Soviet Union has collapsed”.
“And anybody who thinks he’s going to stop is just foolish,” Biden said.
The Democrat also said the Oval Office clash between Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was “beneath America”.
He pointed to Trump’s comments on taking Panama and Greenland, renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America, and suggesting Canada should become the 51st state.
“What the hell’s going on here? What president ever talks like that?” Biden said. “That’s not who we are. We’re about freedom, democracy, opportunity, not about confiscation.”
