Joe Rogan Donald Trump Inauguration Ball Photo Takes Off Online
A photo of podcaster Joe Rogan at the celebrations surrounding President Trump’s inauguration earlier this week has gone viral on social media.
After interviewing Trump on his podcast, Rogan declared his support for the GOP figurehead ahead of last November’s Election Day. Trump emerged victorious after facing off against Democratic rival, former Vice President Kamala Harris, at the polls.
Rogan was subsequently among the host of household names who gathered at the Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C. to watch as Trump was officially sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday, January 20.
On Tuesday, fitness expert Jillian Michaels took to her social media accounts to share a photo of her posing with Rogan at one of the celebratory inaugural gatherings. Former The Biggest Loser star Michaels shared on X, formerly Twitter, that she had passes for the Commander in Chief Ball and the Liberty Ball.
In her photo with Rogan, Michaels is wearing a light pantsuit, and a beaming Rogan is in a black tuxedo.
“Joe f****** Rogan,” Michaels wrote in her accompanying caption, which was rounded out with a red heart emoji.
As of press time, the post has garnered more than 3.5 million views on X. Newsweek has contacted a representative of Rogan via email for comment.
Rogan, who has previously criticized the Republican Party, gave credit to billionaire tech tycoon Elon Musk for his decision to support Trump.
Rogan, whose podcast The Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most listened to in the world, wrote on Musk’s X platform: “The great and powerful Elon Musk. If it wasn’t for him we’d be f*****. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.”

Meanwhile, Michaels has shifted her position on Trump. In the summer of 2016, when Trump was running for his first presidential term, Michaels branded him a “bigot trying to rob Americans of their equal rights” in a scathing X post.
During an appearance on political commentator Dave Rubin’s podcast last November, Michaels shared that her position had changed.
“I did vote for Donald Trump,” she said. “He wasn’t my choice out of the candidates that were running for the primary. I do understand his flaws, but the problem for me is that it becomes a question of lesser evils.
“Things you and I talked about, like the First Amendment. I’m looking at wars going on all over the world. I’m looking at big food, Big Pharma, and big insurance running rampant. Someone’s telling me, like, ‘I don’t care about that. I just need to pay my rent, and all this stuff you’re thinking about is up here.’
“It’s not up here when you get diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s not up here when a nuclear bomb goes off on the East Coast, it’s not going to be up here when and all of a sudden there’s something you don’t want to do with your body and then they shut down your social media and then they fire you from your topic. It will come for you.”
