The Buffalo Bills will face off against the Miami Dolphins in a Week 10, AFC East matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately for quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense, they will be without one of their starting wide receiver options: Joshua Palmer.
Palmer (knee/ankle) was listed as questionable to play in Week 10 throughout the Bills’ week of practice action, notching limited participation in Thursday and Friday’s sessions. The veteran wide receiver took the field for pregame warmups at Hard Rock Stadium, but was ultimately ruled out.
“Bills WR Josh Palmer, questionable with an ankle injury, is out today. He worked out pregame to try, but wasn’t quite there yet,” NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported on Sunday.

The Bills signed Palmer on a three-year, $36 million deal before the 2025 season. Before that, the former third-round draft pick spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Through six games this season, Palmer has 14 catches for 234 yards. He’s the third-leading wide receiver option for the Bills, trailing only Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman — both of whom will be asked to step up their production in Palmer’s absence.
Third-year tight end Dalton Kincaid has been Allen’s favorite target to this point in the 2025 NFL season, reeling in 27 catches for 411 yards and four touchdowns.

Buffalo also has Tyrell Shavers, Curtis Samuel and Elijah Moore as options on the wide receiver depth chart.
The Bills are 6-2 on the season, fresh off a Week 9 victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday. The reigning AFC East champions currently hold second place in the division, trailing Drake Maye and the New England Patriots.
