Kai Trump Confused by Elon Musk’s ‘PvP Game’ Request
What’s New
In her newest YouTube video, Kai Trump, daughter of Donald Trump Jr., shared a Q&A moment with Elon Musk, when she became confused about what “PvP game” means. PvP stands for player versus player and typically refers to online and video games.
Why It Matters
Kai Trump, 17, posted a short clip of her larger “get to know me better” video to X, formerly Twitter. In it, billionaire X owner Elon Musk said that “questions on X will generate interesting responses. This is a PvP game.” Kai, however, didn’t know what the last part meant.
“What’s that mean?” Kai whispered to someone off the camera. “What’s PvP? I don’t know what that means. Do you guys know what that means?”
In her post on X, Kai said she’s “still confused @elonmusk.”

What To Know
Kai had a larger presence in grandfather President-elect Donald Trump’s campaign this time around. She is one of five children that Donald Jr. had with ex-wife Vanessa. Kai, the incoming president’s oldest grandchild, spoke at the Republican National Convention in July.
“I’m speaking today to share the side of my grandpa that people don’t normally see,” Kai said. “He’s very caring and loving. He truly wants the best for this country, and he will fight every single day to make America great again.”
During her speech, in which she was introduced by her father, she described the former president as “just a normal grandpa.”
“He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school. When I made the high honor roll, he printed it out and showed his friends how proud he was of me,” she said.
She has frequently posted on social media about her golfing but has largely stayed out of politics until now.
She has more than 137,000 followers on Instagram, where she posts with her grandfather from time to time. In March, she shared that she won the ladies’ club championship at Trump International Palm Beach.
She also posted a photo caption of “The Whole Squad,” including Musk, after Trump won the election this year.

Musk has been an ever-growing presence in U.S. politics, with Kai even saying he had been promoted to “uncle status” in a family photo after the election.
The CEO of SpaceX and Tesla reportedly joined the president-elect in a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Musk also spent Election Day at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and is reported to have had a near-constant presence at the resort since the Republican’s win against Vice President Kamala Harris.
Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, who were tapped by Trump to lead the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), were at the Capitol last week to speak with lawmakers—mostly Republicans, according to the Associated Press. They discussed budget-slashing proposals and other ways to cut programs and “Save America.”
What People Are Saying
Comedian Greg Brothers, on X: “PvP means Pickle vs Pickle. It’s basically a game of which restaurant has the best pickles. Hope this helps.”
Serkan Tanyildizi, who had a role in the Turkish Republican People’s Party, on X: “Player versus Player PvP games are competitive and engaging, allowing players to challenge each other in real time. They are particularly popular in online multiplayer settings.”
What Happens Next
Kai Trump often releases videos of her daily life. This clip was just released, but more videos are expected to be available on her @kaitrump YouTube channel.
