Kasey Kahne Returns To NASCAR Xfinity Series With Richard Childress Racing
Richard Childress Racing has announced the return of Kasey Kahne to a NASCAR Xfinity Series race in 2025.
The experienced driver is set to compete in the Xfinity Series race at the revamped Rockingham Speedway on April 19, signaling an highly-anticipated comeback after his last NASCAR appearance in 2018.
Kahne, who will be driving the No. 33 Chevrolet sponsored by HendrickCars.com, brings with him a wealth of experience and accolades, including being named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers in 2023.
NASCAR fans are preparing for one of the most anticipated events of the year, a 250-lap race that will showcase Kahne’s return. It is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcast live on The CW, along with radio coverage by MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Kasey Kahne, 44, boasts a remarkable career with various achievements. His journey into NASCAR began back in 2002, and throughout his career, he has competed with top-tier teams like Evernham Motorsports, Red Bull Racing, and the renowned Hendrick Motorsports.
He also confirmed at the end of 2024 that he was set to return to full-time racing in the High Limit Racing series in 2025.
As part of his preparation for the upcoming NASCAR Xfinity race, Kahne is set to participate in an organizational test at Rockingham Speedway. This test will also involve drivers from the ARCA Menards Series East and the Craftsman Truck Series, giving teams a chance to get accustomed to the overhauled 1.017-mile track conditions.

Rockingham Speedway, a track with deep-rooted history, was a regular stop on the NASCAR Cup Series circuit from 1965 until 2004. The recent renovations have breathed new life into this iconic venue, transforming it into a modern complex that accommodates the latest in racing technology and fan engagement.
