Labrador Tries to Feed Her Favorite Toy, Viewers Obsessed: ‘Her Baby’

The adorable moment a Labrador made sure her favorite toy didn’t go hungry by feeding it some of her food has melted hearts online.

Whenever Winnie, the 3-year-old black Labrador tucks into her own food, she is more than happy to share. However, she’s not sharing the delicious meal with any siblings or humans, but rather, her favorite stuffed toy.

Once Winnie is done eating, she’s always sure to grab her snuggle puppy and dip that into the food bowl too. She couldn’t possibly let her toy get hungry, after all. But this wasn’t just a one-off occurrence, as Winnie’s owner, Hannah, 26, told Newsweek that she does this every day, both morning and night.

“I think that she just loves this baby and wants it to do everything with her,” Hannah, who resides in New Jersey, said. “Winnie is so sweet and goofy, and very sassy and food obsessed.”

The snuggle puppy toy has been a calming presence for Winnie ever since she was young, as it features a heartbeat sound. The toy was also rubbed on Winnie’s mom before she left the litter, so it carries her scent on it too.

After observing Winnie’s adorable habit, Hannah couldn’t resist sharing a clip of that moment on social media. The video was posted on the dog’s dedicated TikTok account (@winnietheelabrador), with the caption explaining how she feeds “her baby” its dinner.

The video has gone viral in just a matter of days, generating over 362,500 views and more than 77,800 likes on TikTok at the time of writing.

The caption alongside the clip reads: “The tail wagging before she’s even finished eating, this will never get old.”

Hannah has been blown away by the overwhelmingly positive response, as internet users can’t get enough of how nurturing Winnie is towards her stuffed toy. Indeed, many want to see more of this precious duo and how Winnie cares for her favorite toy.

“My family and I think it’s so cute that she is famous and she has no clue about it. It’s such a silly thing, but we love sharing the joy of her with the world,” Hannah told Newsweek.

Since the video of Winnie went viral, it has already generated over 570 comments on TikTok. Plenty of people took to the comments section to praise Winnie’s caring temperament, while others were left fighting back tears.

One comment reads: “We honestly do not deserve them.”

Another TikTok user wrote: “This has to be the sweetest thing I have ever seen.”

Another person added: “Sharing is caring.”

While one commenter replied: “Awww, and she let her baby have seconds.”
