Lakers’ LeBron James Officially Endorses Kamala Harris For President

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has officially endorsed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris for President. The star took to social media to relay his thoughts about the upcoming political election.

He wrote on X:

“What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”

James joins fellow NBA star Stephen Curry in endorsing the Vice President. Curry’s endorsement came out a while back while James has been silent on his choice.

James has never been shy about making his feelings known and his endorsement shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. He has been very vocal about the issues that matter to him and he believes that Vice President Harris is the person to lead the country forward.

The Lakers star is in his 22nd season in the NBA and has continued to defy logic when it comes to his longevity. Despite almost being 40 years old, James has remained one of the better players in the NBA.

James may not be the same player that he once was years ago but he has found other ways to make himself useful on the court. The King showed that he still has a lot left in the tank by helping Team USA capture the gold medal this summer at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

James took home the MVP honor of the Olympic men’s basketball games and was a key piece to the roster. He now has the task of helping the Lakers compete for another title and will do so alongside his son, Bronny.

LeBron and Bronny made history during the Lakers season opener when they took the court together for the first time. It was the first time in league history that a father-son duo had played together, giving the entire James family a truly special moment.

Through five games this season, he is averaging 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game. He is also shooting 38.5 percent from beyond the 3-point line as well.

Los Angeles has started out the year with a record of 3-2 and has looked much better than most people expected. Much of this has been due to the play of co-star Anthony Davis but James has made his presence known in each contest.

James only has a few more years left playing in the NBA before he retires and it seems like he is trying to make the most of them.
