Lane Kiffin dominated the headlines for the better part of the final few weeks of the college football regular season with his decision between leaving Ole Miss for Florida or LSU – or remaining with the Rebels.
In the end, he decided to leave Ole Miss – and a chance at winning a national title – to become the next head coach of the Tigers. While Kiffin dominated the headlines late last month into December, it’s now his son’s turn for a little recognition in the college football space.
Late Wednesday, Dec. 17, Knox Kiffin, a standout quarterback at Oxford High School in Mississippi, landed an offer from a top Big Ten program.

Kiffin is an unranked 2028 recruit, but currently holds offers from SMU, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky and more. During his sophomore season, the 6-foot-2 quarterback completed just under 60% of his passes for 1,236 yards and 14 touchdowns as his team won 11 games and finished as a top-five program in the state.
Following his strong performance, he earned an offer from Washington. “Blessed to receive a offer from the University of Washington,” he said in a message on social media tagging Huskies head coach Jedd Fisch and his father.
Kiffin started his high school career in California before moving to Oxford. With his father off to LSU, he could follow suit and join a premier Louisiana high school program.
