Marco Rubio Gives Update on Ukraine Weapons, Intelligence Ban
The U.S. ban on sending weapons and intelligence to Ukraine could be lifted as soon as tomorrow if critical talks in Saudi Arabia are successful, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
Washington’s top diplomat emphasized that the White House must first assess what concessions Kyiv is willing to make before resuming military aid, stating that Ukraine must be “prepared to do difficult things, just as the Russians will.”
“I think the notion of the pause in aid, broadly, is something I hope we can resolve. Obviously, what happens tomorrow will be key to that,” he told reporters on the plane to Saudi Arabia.
