Michelle Obama Responds to ‘Weak Man’ Donald Trump
Former first lady Michelle Obama called former president Donald Trump a “weak man” in a response to comments he made about her at a rally on Monday.
“A weak man who threatens people who criticize him is not fit to be our commander-in-chief,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on Election Day. “Vote for Kamala Harris today!”
Her post included a link to an article about Trump’s rally in in Raleigh, North Carolina on Monday, where he questioned if was allowed to “hit back” at Obama after she recently criticized him.
“And Michelle hit me … I was so nice to her out of respect. She hit me the other day,” he told the crowd.

And apparently recounting a conversation he had with advisers, he added: ‘I was going to say to my… ‘Am I allowed to hit her now?’ They said: ‘Take it easy, sir.’ My geniuses, they said, ‘Just take it easy.'”
It was not immediately clear what criticism Trump was referring to, but at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, Michelle Obama had referred to Trump as a “criminal and abuser.”
