MLB Insider Predicts Blockbuster Trade For Luis Robert Jr. On Horizon
On a recent episode of “The Baseball Insiders” podcast, FanSided’s MLB insider, Robert Murray, shared that he strongly believes the Chicago White Sox will trade outfielder Luis Robert Jr. this season.
“Luis Robert Jr. with the Chicago White Sox feels like the prime opportunity for them to trade him,” Murray wrote. “This offseason, they got feelers, and even Robert Jr. admitted that he was surprised he didn’t end up getting traded.”
Robert seems like one of the most likely players in the league to be dealt. Murray continued on about the White Sox outfielder and even linked the Atlanta Braves as a potential fit.
The Braves added Jurickson Profar this offseason, but they could be the kind of suitor who swings a huge deal for the star from Chicago.

Beyond the Braves, the Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, and Cincinnati Reds all make quite a bit of sense as potential fits.
The Astros are still looking to recover from losing outfielder Kyle Tucker to a blockbuster trade this offseason. They’re playing two infielders, Cam Smith and Jose Altuve, in their outfield right now. Adding Robert would be a huge addition.
The Tigers need to add offense in a big way. They’re led by the duo of Tarik Skubal and Jack Flaherty at the top of their pitching rotation, but their offense leaves a lot to be desired. The American League Central is open for the taking, and adding Robert would push the Tigers to the top.
The Reds need to add a right-handed hitting outfielder desperately. Spencer Steer and Austin Hays are both hurt. Beyond those two, the Reds don’t have much. With the youth movement in Cincinnati, Robert would be the perfect addition alongside Elly De La Cruz.
