NASCAR’s 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium is quickly approaching. This year’s event is scheduled for Sunday, February 2, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, and will be broadcast live on FOX. For radio listeners, MRN, the Motor Racing Network, will cover the action, and satellite radio subscribers can tune in via SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
The decision to host the 2025 Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium brings a huge change in NASCAR’s approach to its annual exhibition race. Known as “NASCAR’s longest-running weekly race track,” Bowman Gray Stadium, located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, hasn’t hosted a NASCAR Cup Series event since 1971.

The Cook Out Clash will feature a 200-lap main event with 23 drivers, where only laps driven under the green flag are counted. This setup guarantees uninterrupted racing action.

Qualification will be fierce, with 20 drivers advancing through heat races, while two more will earn spots via a Last Chance Qualifier.
Complementing the Clash, Saturday, February 1, will feature the Madhouse Classic, a 125-lap event for modified cars.
