New Diddy Lawsuit: Former Employee Claims He Had to Set Up Sex Rooms
What’s New
A former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs filed a lawsuit against the disgraced mogul Monday, accusing him of sex crimes and job duties, allegedly including setting up and cleaning up rooms for drug-filled orgies called “Wild King Nights.”
The Context
Combs, 55, has been jailed in Brooklyn since September on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He faces over 20 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee represents 120 alleged victims while the “Bad Boy For Life” rapper maintains his innocence.
What To Know
Phillip Pines, the ex-employee, is suing Combs, 55, for sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sex trafficking, alleging that some of his job duties were to cover Combs’ alleged sexual habits from 2019 to 2021. The “Wild King Nights” allegedly included multiple women and would sometimes last multiple days.
In the complaint obtained by TMZ, Pines said his alleged duties included preparing the sex rooms with red lights, ice buckets, alcohol, marijuana, honey packs for male libido, baby oil, Astroglide, towels, illegal drugs, and Power Banger sex machines.
Pines was also allegedly instructed to clean up after the events without leaving a trace of the party took place, the outlet reports. This allegedly included removing any evidence of drugs, condoms, and sex toys, and cleaning up stains from bodily fluids, blood, and urine.
Pines also said Combs would test his loyalty by forcing him to have sex with women while Combs watched. He was also forced to work closely with Combs for his birthday party in November 2020 while Combs had COVID-19 and was told to stay quiet when Combs’ celebrity friends became infected.
Combs’ legal team told Newsweek in a statement, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
What People Are Saying
Following a report that Combs looked “noticeably thinner” in court, a source to Newsweek said via email on December 19: “Combs is fit, healthy, and fully focused on his defense. He has been very active, remains in good spirits, and, as always, he was happy to see his children.”
Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee said during a press conference in October: “The biggest secret in the entertainment industry that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world. The wall of silence has now been broken, and victims are coming forward.”
What Happens Next
The judge in Combs’ sex trafficking case has until January 3, 2025, to rule on a motion from Combs’ attorneys on whether his anonymous sexual assault accuses will need to reveal their real names in their civil lawsuits. Combs’ next hearing in his sex trafficking case is set for March 17, 2024. His trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025.
