Spider-Man is easily one of the most popular superheroes in all of comics, with countless successful films, hit animated series, and critically acclaimed video games.

A large reason for the character’s recent success comes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), where Peter Parker is expertly played by Tom Holland.
Now, it seems that Marvel fans may have learned some new information regarding the Wall-Crawler’s MCU future.

According to a report from scooper Daniel Richtman, “Spider-Man 4” will have a budget of $200 million.
This matches the same budget as the previous MCU Spider-Man film, “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” The film is largely considered one of the best Marvel movies and grossed $1.953 billion.
The first two movies, “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” had budgets of $175 million and $160 million respectively.

However, this isn’t the only piece of Marvel news Richtman had regarding the Web-Slinger. He also revealed that a stunt double will handle some of Tom Holland’s scenes for “Avengers: Doomsday.”
This is because Holland will be simultaneously filming the Christopher Nolan movie “The Odyssey” while “Avengers: Doomsday” is being filmed.
There has been no report whether this will affect the filming of “Spider-Man 4.”

According to the report, the scripts for both films are set to be finished in March.
Both movies are set to be released in 2026. “Avengers: Doomsday” has will come out in theaters on May 1, 2026, while “Spider-Man 4” is scheduled to be released on July 24, 2026.

They will both be followed by “Avengers: Secret Wars,” which currently has a May 2027 release date. No other details for MCU films have been released.

Spider-Man is the highest-grossing individual superhero of all time in cinema, having made over $11.151 billion at the box office. This includes the Spider-Verse series and Sony’s Spider-Man universe.
The only franchise beating Spider-Man is the entire MCU, which has grossed an estimated $31.2 billion.
The second-highest-grossing individual superhero is Batman, who has made over $7 billion at the box office.
