NFL Fines Multiple Ravens Defenders Over $55,000
The most exciting NFL game in Week 10 was easily the Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals matchup on Thursday Night Football.
The game featured unbelievable performances from Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who completed 34 passes for 428 yards and four touchdowns, and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who made 11 receptions for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

However, this wasn’t enough to beat the Ravens. The game also featured incredible play from Baltimore stars quarterback Lamar Jackson, who completed 25 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns, and receiver Tylan Wallace, who made three receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown.
In the end, Baltimore narrowly won, 35-34. However, it looks like this game may have come at a cost.
Two defenders on the Ravens received hefty fines from the NFL in their win over Cincinnati.
The first player who received a fine is defensive tackle Travis Jones. He was dinged with a $22,511 fine for roughing the passer, specifically a blow to the head/neck to Burrow during a two-point conversion near the end of the game.
The second was cornerback Marlon Humphrey, who received two fines from the NFL. The first was also for unnecessary roughness, specifically use of the helmet, against Chase that cost Humphrey $22,511. The second was for a facemask call in the fourth quarter against Burrow worth $11,255.
In total, Baltimore defenders were fined $56,277.

Additionally, Smith and Odafe Oweh were fined $16,883 and $20,050 respectively in Week 1, also for unnecessary roughness.
Both Humphrey and Jones played integral parts in Baltimore’s narrow win. Humphrey recorded five combined tackles, one pass deflection, one quarterback hit, and one forced fumble.
Meanwhile, Jones had two combined tackles and one quarterback hit in a pass rush that hit Burrow 13 times and sacked him three times.
