NFL Mock Draft 2025: Predicting First Round With Trades
The NFL draft is now becoming the main focus of NFL experts and fans with free agency concluding, meaning mock drafts are being constantly posted.
That consistency among a variety of outlets should last all the way up to the NFL draft.

With team needs clearer and more details on players being discovered, mock drafts will only become more consistent as time goes on.
For this mock draft, the entire first round will be mocked, including draft trades. Trades are almost impossible to predict, so these mock trades could seem a bit extreme at first glance.
Here is a full first-round, 32-pick NFL mock draft with predicted trades included.
1. New York Giants (via Titans) – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
The Giants give up significant draft capital to trade up from three and select the top quarterback in the class. While the other options may seem solid on paper, Ward has the best potential to be a long-term starter and help a team contend for a Super Bowl.
2. Cleveland Browns – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Browns select the next-best quarterback in the class in Sanders. The team considers a different position and even a trade down, but staying put and selecting a quarterback is their safest option to address their top need.
3. Carolina Panthers (via Titans via Giants) – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn St.
The Titans perform a double trade down from the top spot to gain a treasure trove of draft capital. The Panthers trade up from eight to grab the elite pass rusher they desperately need in Carter.
4. New England Patriots – Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
The Patriots stay put and take the ideal player for a team in need of a WR1. They considered trading down with the Panthers originally to take the offensive line, but Hunter is too good to pass up given his two-way potential, and left tackle can be addressed later.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
The Jaguars, as every mock seems to have, take Mason Graham to shore up the middle of their defense. With an already solid pass rush on the edges, adding an interior threat brings their defense to another level.
6. Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise St.
Another pick that feels like a no-brainer and happens in almost every mock at this point, the Raiders add the top running back in a loaded 2025 class. The team already has Brock Bowers at tight end, and adds another dynamic weapon to their offense.
7. New York Jets – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St.
The Jets need weapons to help out Justin Fields, and address that need with Tyler Warren, a versatile tight end who will help a lot with blocking as well. Warren serves as a great second option to Garrett Wilson.
8. Tennessee Titans (via Panthers) – Jaxon Dart, QB, Ole Miss
After trading down twice, the Titans still address their big hole at quarterback by selecting Dart. This may feel a bit early for the senior, but considering all the teams that need a quarterback, Dart going this early seems entirely possible despite his actual ranking as a prospect.

9. New Orleans Saints – Will Campbell, OT, LSU
The Saints would have considered Dart here, but instead take the best player available. Campbell will help out the offensive line tremendously, no matter if he slots in at left tackle, right tackle, or guard.
10. Chicago Bears – Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
After addressing the interior offensive line in free agency, Ben Johnson and the Bears improve the exterior by adding Membou. Membou has the athleticism to help the run game and maintain blocks for Caleb Williams when he extends plays.
11. Los Angeles Chargers (via 49ers) – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
This pick feels like a home run on paper, as the Chargers add McMillan to an offense with Justin Herbert, Ladd McConkey, and Najee Harris. The Chargers steal him from the Cowboys, while the 49ers gain more draft capital to help replace all the players they lost in free agency.
12. Dallas Cowboys – Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
The Cowboys need a receiver opposite of CeeDee Lamb and settle for a guy in-state. Golden has been climbing up draft boards after a great combine and would provide another dynamic weapon for Dak Prescott.
13. Miami Dolphins – Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Dolphins would prefer Will Campbell or Armand Membou to fall to them, but they settle for a safety to replace Jevon Holland. Starks is all over the place in mock drafts currently, but the safety out of Georgia has shown glimpses of potential in the past.
14. Indianapolis Colts – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Colts fill their biggest need and provide great support for Anthony Richardson, or even Daniel Jones if he ends up starting. The Colts consider trading down, but Loveland fits too well with their current roster to risk missing out.
15. Atlanta Falcons – Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
This pick kicks off a run on linebackers and edge rushers, starting with arguably the best one not named Abdul Carter in Walker. Walker is a potential top-10 talent, so this pick is a great value for the Falcons.
16. Arizona Cardinals – Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
The Cardinals could use an edge rusher opposite new addition Josh Sweat from the Eagles. Stewart is a bit raw and extremely athletic, and should develop well in Arizona in what could be a new-look defensive front.
17. Cincinnati Bengals – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Another raw athletic pass rusher, the Bengals could use an insurance policy for Trey Hendrickson. Williams would also benefit from being across from Hendrickson if the Bengals did sign him to a long-term extension.
18. Seattle Seahawks – Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
The Seahawks need help on the offensive line to keep new quarterback Sam Darnold upright. Banks could fit wherever is needed on the offensive line in Seattle, and should help solidify a new-look offense.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Campbell is rising up draft boards and could be even higher than this as the draft approaches, but for now, he fits at 19 with the Bucs, a team he is often mocked to. With Lavonte David getting up there in age, the team could use some youth at linebacker.
20. Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The Broncos could also use receiver help, but with Golden and McMillan gone, they go for the top running back available. Hampton is a potential workhorse back who would be the top back in the typical running back draft class.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
The Steelers have some significant holes at QB and RB, but also need secondary help. They get arguably the best corner in the draft in Barron at 21 which is a great value compared to who they may have reached on to address other needs.
22. San Francisco 49ers – Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The 49ers made a significant trade down early and still address a need with a player that at one point was considered a potential top-five pick. Johnson has been falling down draft boards due to injury concerns, but is still a great prospect.
23. Green Bay Packers – Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
A second straight Michigan defender addresses a significant need on defense for the Packers. The team also would’ve liked grabbing a secondary player, but the top guys are all gone.
24. New England Patriots (via Vikings) – Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio St.
The Patriots make a huge trade up from the second round (pick 38) to grab a left tackle before the Texans do. The Vikings are happy to trade down as a team with only four picks in this year’s draft.
25. Houston Texans – Grey Zabel, OT, North Dakota St.
The Texans still get the offensive lineman they need in Zabel. Zabel is a versatile lineman who can play all across the line, which he did in college, giving him an added bonus as an offensive lineman prospect.
26. Los Angeles Rams – Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio St.
The Rams have Puka Nacua and Davante Adams but could use a slot guy and someone who can replace Adams long-term. Egbuka doesn’t have elite potential but is one of the safer picks in the draft given his high floor as a prospect.
27. Baltimore Ravens – Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Ravens could use some help in the secondary, and get that with Emmanwori. The combination of Kyle Hamilton and Emmanwori at safety is very tantalizing for the Ravens looking to slow down Buffalo and Kansas City on offense in the AFC.
28. Detroit Lions – Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
The Lions could use depth on the defensive line, and get that with early draft riser in Green. The defense had a ton of injuries to the defense last season which was a big part of them losing in the playoffs earlier than expected.
29. Washington Commanders – Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The Commanders have already had a great offseason so far, and continue it by adding another pass rusher to the mix. The Commanders were a surprise in the playoffs and could prove to be a true contender next season.
30. Buffalo Bills – Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
The Bills could use some help on the interior to stop the run. They re-signed some of their top defenders at linebacker and edge, so adding a young interior player would help the defense tremendously.
31. Kansas City Chiefs – Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss
The Chiefs could also use help on the interior. They addressed offensive line in free agency, and could do more later in the draft, but their top need heading into the draft is at defensive line.
32. Philadelphia Eagles – Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama
After losing Mekhi Becton in free agency, they replace him with arguably the top pure guard in the class. The Eagles have consistently had an elite offensive line in recent seasons, and will look to maintain that with this pick.
