Nuggets’ Jamal Murray Injury Status vs Grizzlies Could Change West Playoff Picture

The Denver Nuggets will be taking on the Memphis Grizzlies tonight in what has now become a massive game in terms of playoff seeding. Both sides are still looking to lock down their seeds in the Western Conference, and they are separated by just one game in the standings.

Entering this contest, Denver is slotted in as the No. 4 seed in the West, holding a record of 48-32. The Nuggets have undergone a massive change recently, firing head coach Michael Malone with just a few games before the postseason.
The Nuggets have been a little up and down of late, but ownership is confident they will get back on track for the postseason. They enter this game having gone 4-6 over their previous 10 contests overall.
As for the Grizzlies, they come into this matchup holding a record of 47-33. Memphis is slotted in the No. 7 spot of the West standings, just barely behind others for a top-six seed.
Star guard Jamal Murray has missed multiple games in a row due to a hamstring injury, and it’s hurt this team on the court. Entering this game against the Grizzlies, Murray was initially listed as questionable. Ultimately, he will play in this contest.

Murray has been one of the better players for the Nuggets, and he complements star center Nikola Jokic very well. The two stars make life very tough for the opposing defenses, giving Denver an advantage on the offensive end of the floor.
